Bernadette Redmond
Literacy Specialist & Learning Differences Advocate
I’m Bernadette Redmond, an educator with nearly a decade of experience helping students with learning differences and disabilities thrive. Trained in Lindamood-Bell® and Learning Without Tears ® programs my mission is to support struggling learners, especially those with Dyslexia and related challenges, by providing structured, compassionate instruction that builds skills and confidence.
My journey into this work began at home. When my oldest son was diagnosed with learning differences I immersed myself in understanding how to best support his unique needs. Not long after, my second son was diagnosed with Dyslexia and other learning challenges. Navigating these experiences as a parent shaped my understanding of how overwhelming, and empowering, early intervention can be.
Because I’ve walked this road personally, I bring not only professional training but also empathy and insight to every session. I understand the worries, the wins, and the determination it takes to advocate for your child. My goal is to help families feel supported, seen, and confident that their child is in capable, caring hands.
Outside of tutoring, I’ve been happily married for 23 years and enjoy movie nights and game time with my husband and our three boys.
